Biography
Josh Redelman is a trusted advisor to businesses both large and small, with significant experience litigating cases involving non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, as well as discrimination and retaliation claims brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act. Josh also provides advice regarding the Fair Labor Standards Act compliance and assists his clients with rolling out company-wide compensation changes, conducting internal audits and investigations, reviewing, drafting and rolling-out employment agreements and arbitration and class action waivers, and leading settlement negotiations.
Additionally, Josh has extensive experience counseling employers on employee benefits issues, including executive compensation agreements, Employee Retirement Income Security Act and tax compliance issues related to employee benefits plans, and in construing employee benefits laws, such as the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act. In recognition of Josh’s skilled advocacy, Thomson Reuters Texas SuperLawyers recognized Josh as a “Rising Star” in the area of Labor and Employment law in 2019 and Houstonia Magazine recognized Josh as a “Top Lawyer” in Labor and Employment – Defense in 2019 and 2020. Josh’s credentials also include an internship with the Honorable Marcia A. Crone, United States District Judge for Eastern District of Texas.
Outside of the office, Josh enjoys traveling with his wife, Larissa, and spending time with their two dogs, Rocky and Olivia. After spending years commuting to downtown Houston, Josh is excited to engage with the community and make a positive impact throughout Montgomery County.
